Local Driver Brings Home National Accolades

Oakwood, IL driver Bobby Pierce has had quite a year driving; from the lows of the opening night of the Farmer City 74, to taking the win in "The 74", Pierce has parlayed his successes on the track to claim his 3rd UMP SummerNationals Championship. He took a few moments to discuss his season and racing with WWHP's L.A. Decker.

(FARMER CITY-DG) It was a another fine night for racing Friday night at the Farmer City Raceway. Feature winners were Ryan Unzicker in Late Models, Allen Weisser in Modifieds, Pro Lates was won by Myles Moos, Street Stocks went to Nick Macklin and Hornets was won by Derrick Deford.

Austin Tabeling also of the Gifford Flatville Giflats won the Virgil Scheiwe Most outstanding pitcher award.
