College

Former Illinois State Redbird Offensive Lineman Cameron Lee from Oakwood has signed to play football with the New Orleans Saints. Center Mark spelman heads to the Chicago Bears Rookie Camp, Wide Receiver Anthony Warrum is headed to Dallas and Defensive Back B. J. Bello signed with the Cleveland Browns. 

 

Former Illini Quarterback West Lunt has signed with the Minnesota Vikings and Linebacker Hardy Nickerson has signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. Defensive Lineman Carroll Phillips has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wide Receiver Justin Hardee signed with the Houston Texans. Former teammate Dawuane Smoot a Defensive Lineman was drafted on Friday by Jacksonville.   

 

The Fighting Illini Golf Team won it’s 8th Big 10 Championship this weekend. Regionals begin May 15th.
