(Undated-jm) -- If you’re needing to renew your driver’s license or maybe you forgot to get that sticker for your car, you don’t have to wait much longer to visit the state’s drivers services facilities. Facilities that are open Monday through Friday were closed yesterday while facilities that are open Tuesday through Saturday were closed Saturday. Facilities will open at their normal time today.

(Farmer City-jm) -- The Farmer City city council will look to amend an ordinance and set their council meeting dates and times at tonight’s city council meeting. Council members will be asked to amend the ordinance on parking schedules. In addition the council will go into executive session to discuss setting the price for the sale or lease of property owned by the city. The Farmer City city council meeting gets underway at 7 pm.

 

 

(Washington-jm) -- The crop insurance industry and a USDA agency will work in tandem to provide to producers new insurance options through a new Farm Bill. Rod Bain reports…

 

 

(LeRoy-jm) -- Replex in LeRoy will once again hold their Ranger Days again this school year. Ranger Days are set for today through the January 5th and March 26th through the 30th. The Ranger Days program is available for kids ages 4-12.

(Clinton-jm) -- Clinton city leaders are expected to approve an over 7 and a half thousand dollar bid for elevator repairs at tonight’s city council meeting. Council members will be asked to approve the $7,742 bid from Schindler Elevator Corporation. In addition council members will continue discussions on an easement for Ameren and adopting a policy prohibiting sexual harassment. The Clinton City Council meeting gets underway at 7pm.
